Key Holder

Overview

Against All Odds (AAO) is hiring a Key Holder for its retail team in Niagara Falls, NY. This role suits upbeat, self-driven, and ambitious people who enjoy a busy store environment and have experience working in customer service.

The position supports day-to-day store operations, helps customers find and purchase products, guides team members, and helps maintain a positive shopping experience. It also includes loss prevention, staff coaching, and following proper opening and closing routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand what they are looking for.
• Support product sales and merchandising efforts.
• Carry out store opening and closing tasks according to required procedures.
• Assist with training and development of store staff.
• Help lead daily activities and encourage strong customer service.
• Support conflict resolution and contribute to loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a busy customer service setting is required.
• Strong leadership ability and a sales-focused mindset.
• Good organizational skills.
• Solid customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and computerized sales terminals.
• Friendly, approachable, energetic, and positive attitude.
• Quick learner who can work efficiently and motivate others.
• Must maintain a cheerful, customer-ready demeanor.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs without assistance.
• Requires bending, turning, and reaching in a retail setting.
