Position Overview
We are currently seeking a proactive Key Account Executive to join our dynamic Petcare segment team located in Auckland, New Zealand. This full-time, fixed-term contract position runs until April 2027 and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Customer Development Manager to achieve exceptional commercial outcomes, cultivating strategic partnerships, and influencing the future direction of Mars’ pet care brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Key Account Manager by managing promotional submissions through Mars’ online customer portal.
- Partner with the Key Account Manager to uncover opportunities that enhance customer relationships and stimulate business growth.
- Take ownership of projects aligned with channel and business objectives.
- Champion process enhancements within own responsibilities and across the wider team.
- Work in close collaboration with demand planning to bolster accurate forecasting.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports and insights to support informed decision-making.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support as required.

- Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales, preferably with experience in FMCG or related sectors.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with excellent communication skills to translate data into actionable insights.
- Good understanding of key business metrics and trade mathematics.
