Junior Tracking Specialist

About the Role

As a Junior Tracking Specialist at Sunday Natural, you will be responsible for enhancing the measurement of user interactions and e-commerce data across our websites and potentially future applications. Your key focus will be on refining both client- and server-side Google Tag Manager (GTM) configurations, including leveraging Google Cloud tools, alongside optimizing our GA4 setup. This role plays a vital part in establishing highly accurate tracking systems to deliver reliable data for marketing activities, website enhancements, and business intelligence, supporting business expansion.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Tracking Specialist to maintain and develop the website data infrastructure supporting our presence in over 10 country-specific domains.

Primary Responsibilities

• Constantly enhance the scope and precision of data collected via GTM and GA4.
• Assist in launching data quality monitoring protocols and produce insightful reports using Looker Studio.
• Contribute to shaping our tracking strategy to align with marketing and organizational objectives.
• Manage ongoing maintenance of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics implementations.
• Educate internal stakeholders about the capabilities and constraints of our current tracking configurations.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in digital analytics.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and data teams to address business questions, foster synergies, and boost growth through data-driven insights.
• Support marketing departments by handling various data-related requests.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4; familiarity with app tracking is advantageous.
• Proven ability to develop functional and effective tracking setups.
• Experience configuring Server-Side GTM, especially in a multi-domain environment.
• Understanding of the tracking requirements of paid advertising channels like Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial.
• Strong organization skills focusing on methodical documentation and data integrity monitoring.
• High motivation to work closely with data and marketing teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly.
• An interest in the impact of AI on data measurement and digital analytics is a plus.
