Junior Accountant

Role overview

ATEEQ HAJ TOURS AND TRAVELS is hiring a Junior Accountant to manage routine accounting tasks, keep financial records accurate, handle invoices and payments, and assist with reconciliation work. The role calls for practical knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST, and core accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily accounting transactions and keep the books of accounts updated.
• Create invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries as needed.
• Maintain ledgers, bills, and all supporting paperwork related to finance.
• Carry out reconciliations for bank, vendors, and customers.
• Help with GST, TDS, and other accounting-related documentation.
• Assist in monthly reporting and broader finance operations.

Requirements

• Graduation in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of Tally, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong focus on accuracy, good organization, and clear communication.

Preferred background

Experience in travel, tourism, Haj/Umrah, or hospitality is preferred.

Eligibility

Any graduate can apply, with preference for candidates who have a background in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
