About the Role
We are seeking a skilled IT & Systems Support Specialist to join the team in Doha. The position focuses on keeping day-to-day technology operations running smoothly so employees can work with minimal disruption. You will support workplace computers, networks, printers, ERP platforms, Microsoft 365, and other core business tools while helping to maintain a secure, dependable, and well-managed IT setup. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting issues, assisting users, and improving internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver everyday IT assistance to staff across all departments.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, barcode printers, barcode scanners, and other office equipment.
- Identify and fix issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Support employees with ERP troubleshooting and basic guidance on usage.
- Prepare computers, email accounts, Microsoft 365 access, and user credentials for new hires.
- Oversee user accounts, access permissions, and essential security settings.
- Track office networks, Wi‑Fi, internet access, and shared devices for smooth performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and common business applications.
- Work with outside vendors and service providers when more advanced technical support is needed.
- Carry out regular maintenance, updates, backups, and system health checks.
- Keep records of IT assets, software licenses, warranties, and equipment stock.
- Create and update documentation for technical processes, support work, and system setups.
- Suggest practical improvements that strengthen reliability, security, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support, technical support, system administration, or a similar position.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience resolving issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other office hardware.
- Good understanding of networking basics such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi.
- Exposure to ERP systems or other business management software.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Clear communication skills and a user-focused support approach.
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and address technical issues efficiently.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and keep technical knowledge current.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Must already be based in Qatar.
- Should be ready to join immediately.
