IT Support Specialist

Role overview

Transmed is hiring an IT Support Specialist to handle first-line help desk requests from business users and keep day-to-day technical operations running smoothly.

Technical support

• Set up and configure computers, software, printers, conference room devices, and scanners while staying within the agreed service levels.
• Diagnose issues affecting hardware, software, or network connectivity, then recommend practical fixes and next steps.

Data backup

• Create daily backups across all systems to help maintain business continuity.

Inventory management

• Track IT stock and inventory carefully, maintain accurate usage records, and guide management on replenishment needs.
• Source and purchase required IT equipment in line with the company’s procurement rules.

Additional expectations

• Demonstrate the organization’s purpose through consistent daily behavior and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline is required.
• Relevant experience in an IT support position should be between 0 and 1 year.
