IT Support and Security Specialist

Overview

Adept Consulting Services is looking for a skilled IT Contractor with at least two years of experience in IT security and technical support roles. This role bridges responsibilities across security and help desk teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general IT support across technology platforms.
• Respond promptly to support tickets and execute their resolution.
• Document and manage incidents as well as security vulnerabilities effectively.
• Monitor network status and generate pertinent reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Collaborate seamlessly between teams while maintaining strong independent work capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security support functions.
• At least 2 years experience in helpdesk technical support.
• Proficient with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 product suite.
• Familiar with incident reporting procedures and support ticket management systems.
• Skilled in utilizing network and computer security testing utilities.
• Adept at reading and interpreting security logs and analytical reports.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable and Splunk tools.
• Possession of an Associate's degree or equivalent IT certifications.
