Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist focused on Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. This role involves enabling smooth digital workflows by delivering expert technical assistance and troubleshooting for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote desktop and end-user technical support.
- Set up, image, and deploy laptops and desktops effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows operating systems, applications, and user profiles.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and permission settings within Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Troubleshoot connectivity problems related to LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Assist with AV equipment and video conferencing systems in meeting rooms.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventories and asset management records.
- Carry out break-fix tasks and coordinate hardware replacements as necessary.
- Ensure all tickets are documented accurately and updated promptly to meet SLA standards.
- Contribute to IT rollouts, system migrations, and project initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Must currently reside in Germany and possess a valid work permit.
- Fluent in both English and German languages at a conversational level.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365 suite, and foundational networking concepts.
- Experience managing Active Directory and utilizing IT ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Additional Information
This position supports flexible remote work within Germany. The daily compensation is set at EUR 180. The potential direct supervisor for this role is Fahmida Ahmed Tithi.
