IT Asset Management Analyst

Role Overview

Responsible for overseeing the entire software asset lifecycle, including activities from procurement to deployment, ongoing maintenance, renewal processes, and eventual retirement of software assets. Maintain precise and organized records of software inventory and associated entitlements. Monitor software installations and their usage to ensure compliance and proper governance throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance, renewal, and retirement phases of software asset management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date software inventory and entitlement documentation.
• Track and analyze software installation and usage to ensure proper licensing and compliance.
• Ensure software assets are systematically documented and governed according to company policies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in managing the full software asset lifecycle in IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Experience with Software Asset Management processes and governance.
• 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
• Knowledge of Azure administration.
• Hands-on experience related to Splunk installation projects.
