Role overview

MattesIT GmbH is looking for an IT Administrator to support both internal operations and customer projects in day-to-day work as well as in project assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Take care of server, storage, network, cloud, and IT security environments, including work on IT administration projects.
• Set up and manage Microsoft server and client systems in both physical and virtual environments.
• Design, maintain, and keep the services of a Windows-based network running smoothly.
• Select, procure, install, and document IT systems according to customer requirements.
• Create technical documentation and help improve processes and workflows.
• Investigate issues and resolve incidents on site as part of second-level support.
• Monitor infrastructure and troubleshoot problems across IT systems.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant brings at least three years of experience as a systems administrator and feels confident working independently, taking responsibility, and collaborating as part of a team. Strong communication skills, flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning are important. The employer also values a helpful attitude, a structured and reliable way of working, and a results-oriented mindset. German skills are required at a good written and spoken level; English is an advantage.
