Investment Banking Analyst - Technology

Role Overview

We are looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join a growing technology-focused investment banking team in Austin, Texas. In this position, you will contribute to merger and acquisition assignments, fundraising efforts, and broader strategic advisory work for companies operating in software, SaaS, fintech, IT services, cybersecurity, and other technology-related segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and carry out valuation work.
• Create pitch books, client-facing presentations, and deal-related materials.
• Perform research on industries, companies, and market trends.
• Assist with due diligence and the execution of transactions.
• Review financial statements and assess business performance indicators.
• Partner with senior bankers and clients across the full deal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Prior exposure of 1 to 3 years in investment banking, valuation, transaction advisory, consulting, or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong capability in financial modelling and analytical problem-solving.
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in technology businesses and fast-growing companies.
