Inventory Management Executive

Key Responsibilities

As an Inventory Management Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory covering gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, jewelry parts, raw materials, consumables, and finished products. Duties include maintaining precise stock records for all material inflows, outflows, transfers, and returns, ensuring all movements like GRN, material issue, returns, and transfers are well-documented.

You will monitor jewelry material flow through production stages such as casting, filing, polishing, plating, quality checks, and dispatch. Keeping detailed records of metal weights, stone specifications, SKUs, batches, and product data is essential.

Regular physical stock verification and cycle counts are required to identify and resolve discrepancies such as shortages or excess inventory. Proper tagging, labeling, segregation, and storage protocols must be upheld along with applying FIFO/FEFO methods where appropriate.

You'll be tasked with preparing comprehensive inventory reports including daily, weekly, and monthly MIS updates, and maintaining records through ERP, Inventory Management Systems, or Excel.

Coordination with departments including Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Finance, and Security is vital to streamline inventory operations. Adherence to company policies regarding jewelry security and inventory controls is mandatory. Additionally, supporting both internal and external audits by supplying accurate inventory documentation is a key responsibility.

Monitoring slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged stock as well as ensuring the secure handling and storage of high-value items like precious metals and jewelry will be part of your role.
