Interior Designer

About the Role

Windle Design & Construction seeks a skilled Interior Designer to lead residential projects from initial concepts through to final completion. This position involves direct client engagement and requires both sharp creative instincts and strong technical skills. You will own the design process, ensuring each project is thoughtfully developed and executed.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of residential design projects, influencing each stage from early sketches to final walkthrough.
• Develop design documentation and plans that accurately transform concepts into buildable realities.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their vision is effectively translated into the finished space.
• Work collaboratively with construction, project management, and other internal teams to maintain design consistency and schedule adherence.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining organization and design quality.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates several years of experience in residential interior design, supported by a comprehensive and diverse portfolio.
• Adept at managing client relationships and juggling various project components simultaneously.
• Possesses strong technical expertise including space planning, material knowledge, and project documentation, alongside excellent design sensibility.
• Works well in a collaborative team environment, understanding that successful projects result from shared effort.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range between $70,000 and $85,000 annually.
