Role overview

The Brisbane Interiors team is seeking an Interior Designer with 2 to 4 years of experience. This position suits someone with strong design thinking who enjoys partnering with architects to create high-quality interior environments.

Experience in multi-residential, hotel, commercial workplace or retail projects is especially valued, particularly where that experience has been gained in an architectural practice.

What you will do

You will work closely with interior design and architectural colleagues across every stage of project delivery, from early concept development through documentation and construction. The role offers exposure to a varied project portfolio and the chance to contribute to practical, innovative design outcomes while strengthening your technical and professional capability.

The position follows Cottee Parker Architects' Interior Designer responsibilities, including design development, client interaction, project coordination and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.

What you should bring

The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of professional interior design experience and a background working on multi-residential, hotel, commercial workplace or retail projects. Experience in an architectural studio will be viewed favourably.

You should bring strong conceptual design ability, a genuine interest in producing exceptional interior spaces, and solid knowledge of space planning, finishes and FF&E. You will also need confidence preparing presentations, mood boards and client-facing design documentation.

Advanced ability in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Familiarity with Enscape and Archicad will be an advantage. Strong communication, collaboration and a proactive willingness to learn and develop are also important.
