Insurance Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Overview

This role involves leading the sales and marketing efforts for life insurance products at Axis Max Life Insurance Company Limited, based in Pune, Maharashtra. The position requires hands-on field work and strong communication skills to effectively manage insurance consultants and directly engage with prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop Insurance Consultants (ICs) within the Agency Channel to maximize sales performance.
• Drive life insurance sales by executing strategic business development initiatives.
• Generate sales leads by leveraging networking, obtaining referrals, and engaging customers.
• Provide mentorship to advisors focusing on deep product knowledge, refined sales techniques, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Establish and maintain robust customer relationships to boost client retention and ensure policy renewal rates remain high.
• Monitor and analyze team metrics to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Within the Direct Channel, engage 100% company-provided leads by conducting direct outreach and field visits to sell life insurance policies.

Additional Information

• This is a field-based position requiring personal conveyance, preferably owning a vehicle and a valid driving license.
• Must have reliable means of transportation for daily commuting.
