Insurance Officer

Role Overview

The Insurance Officer is tasked with overseeing insurance-related activities including claims handling, Total Loss cases, insurance policy renewals, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reconciliations of insurance policies to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure timely renewal of insurance policies associated with active contracts.
• Review invoices submitted by insurance providers for correctness.
• Handle insurance matters for contracts that have ended but ownership transfers remain pending.
• Process Total Loss incidents, preparing necessary documentation such as ownership transfer letters for insurance companies.
• Maintain follow-up communication with insurance companies and aggregators concerning Total Loss and accident claims.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any excess payments owed to customers.
• Update the TAMM system by removing actual drivers and implementing required modifications for Total Loss contracts.
• Lift restrictions in TAMM for Total Loss cases where necessary.
• Liaise with insurance companies to cancel third-party insurance policies when appropriate.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years within areas such as Insurance, Risk Management, Insurance Operations, Claims handling, or Underwriting.
• Excellent communication and coordination capabilities are essential.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite.
