Overview
The Insurance Manager is responsible for managing corporate insurance portfolios, handling insurance policies and claims, and leading teams to mitigate financial losses through effective risk management. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders such as brokers, underwriters, and legal experts to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrate corporate or client insurance policies, including renewals and program management.
- Supervise the entire claims lifecycle, including processing and investigation activities.
- Evaluate financial and statistical risk data to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with brokers, underwriting personnel, and legal departments for policy negotiations and compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable insurance laws and local regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop insurance personnel through training, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
