Job description
Role Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is tasked with ensuring timely repairs and preventive upkeep of various plant machinery. This includes equipment such as metal detectors, case erectors and closers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). The role also involves plant-wide troubleshooting of instrumentation and software programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical issues across machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance routines on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to instrumentation and programming systems within the plant environment.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong ability to identify and fix electrical problems in industrial equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and repairs of plant machines.
- Familiarity with industrial instrumentation and programmable systems troubleshooting.
