About the Role
At Siemens Mobility, a division of Siemens AG specializing in rail vehicles, automation, electrification, and intelligent transport solutions, we're seeking a skilled Fabrication Fitter to join our team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities
- Develop measurement programs aligned with measurement plans for FARO arm inspections.
- Conduct thorough inspections of components utilizing technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards as references.
- Employ various precision measuring instruments including the FARO arm, calipers, micrometers, and gauges to validate dimensions and tolerance limits.
- Detect defects, deviations, or inconsistencies in incoming materials and take appropriate action.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all inspections carried out, ensuring adherence to industry standards, internal policies, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to promptly address and resolve any quality-related issues.
- Segregate and report non-conforming materials to the Quality Supervisor or Engineer, assisting with root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with production for delivering products that meet quality expectations and suggest enhancements to improve quality outcomes.
- Ensure correct usage and upkeep of inspection tools and equipment, guaranteeing safety and organization in the inspection environment.
Additional Information
