ICS Executive for Leather Bag Export House

Role Overview

Silver Melon, a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium leather products based in Kolkata, is seeking an experienced ICS Executive to lead operations within the Material Store, Packing Department, and manage Worker Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Head ICS Operator overseeing the leather bag export operations.
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and promptly issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Manage factory inventory for all incoming raw materials.
• Handle Fabricator Challans and coordinate weekly payments using ICS software.
• Maintain documentation such as Goods Receiving Notes (GRN) and Defective Goods Return Notes.
• Control store and inventory utilizing ICS software systems.
• Oversee material store management, packing materials, and payroll functions (including weekly skiving, splitting, and fabricator payments) through ICS.
• Conduct vendor management activities including price negotiation and supplier coordination.
• Prepare and submit daily stock reports to management using ICS tools.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a graduate degree in any discipline.
• Have a minimum of five years’ experience working as an ICS Operator/Executive in an export house within the leather or fashion accessories manufacturing sector.
• Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint — and experienced with ICS software.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn, self-discipline, and motivated attitude to achieve success.
• Possess solid production planning abilities and leadership skills for effective team management.
