About the Role
Join Mott MacDonald's Auckland-based Water team as a Hydraulic Modeller, focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in creating sustainable, resilient water management solutions that benefit communities across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hydraulic modelling and network planning for water and wastewater systems.
- Develop and enhance models to aid strategic master planning and infrastructure development.
- Utilize software tools such as InfoWorks WS Pro, EPANET, InfoWorks ICM, DHI MIKE+, ArcGIS, and QGIS to deliver accurate modelling results.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams nationally, including Auckland and Wellington.
- Effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous learning to foster a culture of excellence within the team.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in Engineering, Science, Geography, or a related discipline.
- Possesses at least 2 years of relevant experience in hydraulic modelling and water/wastewater network planning.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills paired with a problem-solving approach.
- Exhibits excellent communication abilities and a cooperative working style.
