About the Role
Join a thriving HR team as a Human Resources Administrator in a permanent, on-site position located in Clara, County Offaly, Ireland. This opening is ideal for professionals possessing over two years of experience in HR administration who are eager to engage across the entire employee lifecycle and advance their career within a supportive and professional HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the complete recruitment and onboarding process, including job advertisements, candidate evaluation, offer issuance, contract preparation, and induction procedures.
- Maintain precise and confidential employee information and manage HR information systems.
- Assist payroll operations by processing starters, leavers, salary adjustments, overtime, bonuses, and required deductions.
- Oversee time and attendance records, along with absence and leave management.
- Coordinate occupational health appointments and support welfare programs and return-to-work initiatives.
- Deliver administrative assistance in employee relations matters, such as performance management and disciplinary or grievance processes.
- Prepare and update contracts, HR letters, official documentation, and employee communications.
- Serve as the initial contact point for staff inquiries related to HR issues.
- Generate HR reports and analyze people metrics like headcount, recruitment statistics, turnover, and absenteeism.
- Support activities promoting employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to HR audits, ensure compliance, and manage policy documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with external HR providers and manage general HR administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience within an HR administration capacity.
- Solid understanding of Irish employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and Time & Attendance systems.
- Strong skills in administration and document organization.
- Previous experience aiding recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A relevant third-level degree in HR, Business, or a closely related field is advantageous.
- Possession of or progress towards a CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or regulated sector is beneficial.
