Role Overview
The HR Coordinator at Stord acts as a crucial liaison within Human Resources, enhancing positive and compliant employee relations. This role partners closely with the local operations team to ensure smooth execution of HR policies, procedure adherence, and culture-building efforts. Advocating for employees while collaborating with warehouse leadership, the Coordinator manages daily HR operations to drive operational success. The position requires flexibility and proactive problem-solving in a fast-growing startup setting. The role demands onsite presence Monday to Friday with shifts rotating between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm and occasional weekend shifts during peak periods.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main HR point of contact for warehouse-related HR matters, providing consistent and reliable support to both employees and management.
- Work alongside management to handle corrective actions, conduct investigations, manage escalations, and resolve benefits-related inquiries fairly and compliantly.
- Prepare and review daily and weekly attendance reports, monitoring key metrics such as units per transaction, paid time off usage, callouts, and attendance compliance.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for people programs and processes, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
- Promote an inclusive work environment fostering employee advocacy and empower managers and staff to proactively address and solve issues.
- Leverage employee data to identify patterns, generate insights, and recommend engagement strategies to enhance the workforce experience.
- Ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies in partnership with operations teams, complying with legal and company standards.
- Develop and nurture a positive organizational culture balancing operational effectiveness with supportive people-focused programs.
- Plan and execute employee engagement and operational excellence initiatives alongside the People team to maintain a motivated and unified workforce.

- Mandatory bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
