Role Overview
The position of HSE Manager, requiring Aramco approval and offshore experience, is a full-time onsite role located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee health, safety, and environmental programs aligned with Aramco and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing HSE policies, conducting site safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits. The role also involves leading thorough investigations of incidents with root-cause analyses and implementation of corrective measures. Coordination of occupational health initiatives and delivering impactful safety training sessions to employees and contractors is essential. Accurate documentation and reporting of HSE performance metrics, along with cooperation among project and management teams, will support a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and proven application of Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems and best practices.
- Experienced in managing occupational health aspects such as hazard recognition, risk mitigation, and wellness programs especially in offshore settings.
- Proficient in conducting accident investigations, reporting incidents, root cause analysis, and planning corrective and preventive actions.
- Skilled in creating and delivering HSE training programs, including toolbox talks and competency enhancement for various workforce groups.
- Must hold Aramco-approved HSE Manager status with significant offshore HSE management experience within the oil and gas or related industries.
- Familiarity with applicable HSE laws, regulations, and international standards like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of fostering a proactive safety culture and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Preferred possession of relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalents, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in HSE, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Competence in HSE documentation, reporting, and use of standard office software and safety management tools.
