Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee multiple real estate projects concurrently, ensuring they meet stringent design, quality, budgetary, and timeline standards. This leadership role requires coordination across construction sites, cross-functional teams, external consultants, and senior management for optimal project delivery.

Responsibilities

Devise and execute comprehensive project management strategies covering ongoing and upcoming real estate developments.
Maintain and track consolidated schedules, budgets, and allocation of resources across all projects.
Implement uniform systems and procedures for project governance, quality assurance, and reporting across all sites.
Regularly assess project progress and performance metrics on weekly and monthly intervals.
Supervise Project Managers and Site Heads to ensure alignment with master planning objectives.
Proactively identify risks, delays, and cost escalations and introduce corrective measures promptly.
Evaluate contractor and consultant effectiveness and recommend enhancements or alternatives.
Standardize construction methodologies and uphold quality benchmarks throughout all projects.
Collaborate internally with Architecture, Design, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Sales departments.
Engage with external parties including architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals, compliance, and occupancy certifications.
Represent the Projects Department in senior management discussions and reviews.
Oversee budget adherence by monitoring and controlling project expenditures; validate cost statements, contractor invoices, and material requests.
Ensure rigorous application of quality control procedures and conduct technical audits.
Lead initiatives aimed at minimizing material waste and optimizing resource use.
Enforce compliance with legal, RERA, and Environment, Health & Safety standards across all sites.
Conduct safety inspections and cultivate a safety-first culture within project teams.
Promote sustainable construction practices and enhance site management efficiency.
Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and results.
Identify and nurture talent to prepare future project leadership.
Maintain comprehensive dashboards reflecting project status, costs, and quality metrics for management oversight.
Produce detailed monthly and quarterly analytical reports highlighting variances and offering strategic recommendations.
Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to CRM and Sales teams along with final documentation and statutory closure.
Review post-completion feedback to refine future project strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering required; advanced degrees such as M.Tech or MBA in Project Management preferred.
At least 20 years of extensive experience in the real estate or construction sector, including 5 to 8 years managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Domain Expertise

Experience with residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Proficiency in project scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project and strong budgeting / execution capabilities.
Expertise in vendor management, cost control, and contractual administration.
Knowledgeable in statutory regulations including RERA, municipal guidelines, environmental, and fire safety compliance.
