Role Overview

As a Housekeeper at Inspire Neurocare, you will create a warm and comfortable atmosphere essential for delivering high-quality care and support to residents. This role entails maintaining every room and communal space to the highest standards, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a therapeutic environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks as assigned by the housekeeping team in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all service areas, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms.
• Carefully handle laundry and linen, including residents' personal items.
• Engage with residents and assist them when required.
• Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic understanding of Infection Control, Health and Safety regulations, and COSHH guidelines.
• Familiarity with cleaning standards and protocols, preferably in clinical or similar settings.
• Previous experience working in housekeeping or domestic teams is desirable.
• Flexibility and a solution-oriented approach.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to positively impact residents' lives.

About the Service Location

The role is based at Anchor Point Neurological Centre, located at Hurst Way, Nursling, Southampton, SO16 0AZ. The centre focuses on promoting independence through personalized nursing and specialized therapeutic care for individuals with brain and spinal injuries, progressive neurological disorders, and stroke.
