Role overview
As Hotel Operations Manager, you will steer day-to-day hotel operations while keeping guest experience, commercial performance, and revenue goals in focus. You will act as a key partner to the General Manager and help ensure the hotel runs smoothly, profitably, and in line with legal and brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead operational activity with a broad, hands-on workload and keep priorities aligned across the hotel.
- Deliver guest experiences that exceed expectations and create memorable moments.
- Support the smooth running of the hotel by working closely with Heads of Department.
- Help identify and develop business opportunities while protecting and enhancing brand reputation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and due diligence requirements.
- Assist in managing the hotel budget and contribute to commercial results.
- Serve as a proactive support to the General Manager and help maintain guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to a service-focused, energetic team culture where high standards and enjoyment go together.
Profile and requirements
- Demonstrated experience in leading hotel operations teams with solid problem-solving ability.
- Strong leadership skills with a practical, lead-by-example working style.
- High personal integrity and the ability to perform in a demanding environment that requires excellence, energy, and discipline.
- Adaptable mindset with a positive “Yes I Can!” attitude.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong creative thinking when solving problems.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong written and verbal communication ability.
- Confident use of IT systems across different platforms.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
