Home Care Support Worker - Casual Position

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Care Support Worker to provide personalized care within clients' private residences. You will assist a diverse clientele including NDIS participants, elderly individuals receiving aged care support at home, and those recuperating post-hospitalization, helping them preserve their independence, dignity, and community involvement.

Key Duties

• Assist with personal care activities such as showering, dressing, hygiene, and grooming routines.
• Perform domestic cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning sanitary facilities, emptying bins, washing dishes, and maintaining household tidiness.
• Handle laundry duties by washing, drying, folding, and storing clothes and linens.
• Accompany clients to community outings for medical appointments, social engagements, shopping, and group activities.
• Offer companionship and in-home respite care to provide meaningful social interaction and relief to primary caregivers.
• Support client wellbeing by respecting privacy and independence while ensuring a safe and supportive home environment for daily living.

Mandatory Qualifications and Compliance

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.
