Position Overview

Eaton Syalon Ltd is collaborating with a reputable and expanding hire company to find a skilled Hire Controller to join their team in Derby. This is a full-time, office-based role offering an annual salary between £31,000 and £33,000. The successful candidate must have a valid driving ability and possess prior experience in hire controlling or come from a plant/tool hire background.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage hire requests from initial inquiry to fulfillment.
• Plan and coordinate equipment scheduling, transport logistics, and resource availability.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and handling modifications.
• Collaborate with drivers, depots, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep accurate records and documentation in company systems.
• Ensure efficient daily operational workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a Hire Controller position.
• Background experience within plant or tool hire sectors.
• Capacity to handle several live orders simultaneously in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication skills.
• Motivated, team-oriented, and proactive work approach.

Working Hours

The working schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an early finish on Friday.
