Hedge Funds Specialist

Role Overview

UBS is seeking an enthusiastic Hedge Funds Specialist to join their Unified Global Alternatives business focusing on Wealth Management clients in Southeast Asia. This role requires engaging directly with clients and client advisors to drive Hedge Fund sales, advise on portfolio allocations, and provide ongoing support to ensure client investment success.

Key Responsibilities

• Concentrate on Hedge Funds distribution within the Unified Global Alternatives division focused on Wealth Management across Southeast Asia.
• Offer expert consultation to Wealth Management clients regarding Hedge Fund product offerings and portfolio allocation strategies involving Hedge Funds.
• Collaborate closely with client advisors to engage clients, discuss preferred Hedge Fund approaches, and execute investment strategies.
• Deliver after-sales support for clients with Hedge Fund investments, including preparation of client portfolio reviews.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance and expand the Hedge Funds product portfolio.
• Partner with the Global Hedge Fund team to optimize capabilities and resources.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably 8 to 10 years experience within financial services emphasizing Hedge Fund sales, advisory, or related client-facing specialist roles in Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Hedge Fund/Fund of Hedge Funds environments.
• Strong presentation and client interaction skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the global Hedge Fund sector.
• Proven advisory experience in guiding clients on Hedge Fund inclusion within investment portfolios.
• Advanced finance qualifications such as a relevant graduate degree, CFA, or CAIA designation are advantageous.
• Fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable, enabling flexible support of regional clients and advisors.
• Curious about integrating artificial intelligence to enhance processes, ensuring ethical use and adherence to risk and policy standards.
