Role Overview

The Security Services team at Mackay Base Hospital is looking to hire a Healthcare Security Officer on a permanent basis. This role focuses on ensuring a secure and safe environment by maintaining visible deterrents against inappropriate behavior, aiding in the identification and prevention of unacceptable activities, protecting assets from theft or damage, and proactively managing risks.

Team Structure

The Security Services includes the Security Officer Service, Occupational Violence Prevention Service, Care Support Officer Service, and Access Administration Service. These units collaboratively work to sustain security operations in line with MHHS’s core values, aiming to protect people and property while fostering a safe environment free from intimidation and disruptive incidents.
