Head of Finance & Accounts (Real Estate & Construction)

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Finance & Accounts to lead financial operations for a conglomerate engaged in real estate and construction in Salem, India. The ideal candidate will possess 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in finance, taxation, GST compliance, statutory regulations, project costing, and managing working capital. Proficiency in Tamil is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive finance and accounting activities within real estate and construction sectors.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Manage project costing and conduct detailed MIS reporting for informed decision-making.
• Supervise working capital and treasury functions to optimize financial health.
• Lead audit processes and maintain taxation affairs.
• Provide leadership and manage finance teams effectively.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, preferably within real estate or construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of GST, taxation laws, statutory compliance, auditing, and MIS.
• Hands-on experience managing working capital and project costing.
• Leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
• Fluency in Tamil language is mandatory.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce in any specialization.
