About Together
Together is a fast-growing independent agency in Aotearoa that combines media, data, and technology expertise. In a short span, it has moved from a start-up to one of the country’s leading independent media, data, and technology agencies, earning repeated recognition both locally and internationally. The agency has been the most awarded independent media agency in Aotearoa for the past four years and was most recently named Media Agency of the Year at the Beacons 2026.
The team partners with modern marketers through specialist capabilities in media, Google Cloud, Google Partner, and Salesforce Consulting Partner services. The agency is building for the future and looking for people who want to help shape that future rather than simply adapt to it.
Team culture
The workplace is young, ambitious, and diverse, with a strong senior leadership group and a relatively flat structure that encourages direct learning from experienced industry professionals. The broader team includes specialists across media, customer strategy, technology, data science, and engineering, creating an environment rich in collaboration and skill-building.
Together also places strong emphasis on supporting personal and professional growth through cultural activities, sporting teams, personal coaching, and benefits created by the team for the team.
Role overview
This is a senior leadership role at the centre of the agency’s media planning and buying capability. The position is responsible for setting the benchmark for planning quality across client accounts, strengthening client relationships, mentoring developing planners, contributing to new products and services, and exploring how AI can reshape media planning.
You will be accountable for the overall standard of media planning and buying delivered to clients, along with the quality of service experienced by clients. The role also involves building the capability of junior team members and broadening their understanding of how the agency can support clients beyond media alone.
The role requires you to produce high-quality responses to media briefs and build media plans that are grounded in insight, innovation, and current market knowledge. You should also be able to identify opportunities for broader service offerings across Together’s portfolio, contribute ideas for new products, and support the Consultant team lead in developing those offerings.

- Strong understanding of media channels, with confidence using Google Analytics and major programmatic platforms such as DV360, Google Ads, and Meta.
- Curiosity and interest in AI, marketing science, data strategy, and tagging.
