Role Overview

The Grants Writer role, offered on a full-time remote basis, is pivotal to identifying potential funding avenues and crafting compelling proposals that resonate with the studio's mission and initiatives. Routine tasks include investigating potential funders, interpreting funding criteria, and managing a calendar marking grant deadlines. Writing and refining grant applications, concept notes, and supplementary documents fall under this role’s responsibilities. Coordination with project leaders to acquire precise program details and budgeting information is essential. The role also entails overseeing grant management duties, tracking submissions, reporting outcomes, and ensuring adherence to funder stipulations. Collaboration with leadership on fundraising tactics, cultivating relationships with grant issuers, and consistently enhancing proposal quality are critical functions.
