Role overview
This position is focused on leading international sales growth, winning new business, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The role combines hands-on commercial development with team leadership, process improvement, budgeting, and senior-level stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business expansion across international markets.
- Spot new business opportunities and convert prospects into customers.
- Grow revenue from existing accounts while also bringing in new clients.
- Create and execute both short-term and long-term sales plans, including ownership of the assigned budget.
- Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, and set up business meetings with potential clients.
- Strengthen and refine internal sales processes.
- Assess business capabilities and customer needs to improve fit and outreach.
- Prepare and review contracts.
- Make sure deals are commercially viable, with margins and budgets that support delivery to required standards.
- Lead the Sales Department toward its growth targets and overall business objectives.
- Track team activity and provide coaching, direction, and support where needed.
- Train sales staff and help build their skills in selling, negotiation, and service expertise.
- Monitor sales KPIs and adapt team priorities to changing market conditions.
- Report performance and outcomes to the board.
Requirements
- Prior experience in leading eCommerce agencies is essential.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including work with enterprise accounts.
- Strong exposure to eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplaces, or retail media.
- Demonstrated success in winning and expanding large global clients, especially across FMCG, retail, or consumer brands.
- Experience selling complex, data-led solutions such as eCommerce services, content, SEO, SaaS, or analytics.
- Good understanding of the full eCommerce value chain, including marketplaces, eRetail, product content, and digital shelf.
- Background in managing international sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and negotiating at senior leadership level.
- Ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships with clients.
- Experience building and leading strong sales teams.
- Commercially minded, with a sharp focus on revenue, margins, and KPI delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Fluent English at C1 level or above.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
