Job Details

The position is based in Timmins, Ontario, working Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role is hands-on, contributing significantly to daily plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Use torch cutting equipment safely and effectively to process scrap materials
• Drain fluids from vehicles at end of life following strict environmental and safety protocols
• Sort and process various wires and mine loads to enhance material recovery and value
• Identify, segregate, and organize ferrous and non-ferrous metals appropriately
• Operate forklifts and other on-site machinery to load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment complying with all health and safety guidelines
• Support yard operations and perform additional tasks as needed to assist production

Candidate Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts
• Prior work experience in metal recycling or industrial settings
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors under all weather conditions
• Physically capable of frequent lifting of weights up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
