About the Role

Join the Detroit Pistons and become a vital part of a motivated team dedicated to making an impact both on and off the basketball court. This role focuses on enhancing the overall fan game experience by preparing and managing various game elements during home games and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance and coordinate interactive contests and games on the court, including selecting participants from the audience.
• Support the coordination of fan engagement activities during pre-game, halftime, and game breaks.
• Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador of the Pistons brand both inside the arena and at related external events.
• Escort and manage performers for game entertainment such as National Anthem singers, DJs, and in-arena hosts.
• Collaborate closely with Pistons Entertainment Team Directors to fulfill various game night operational needs.
• Organize and distribute giveaways and manage in-stand promotions throughout the event.
• Assist the arena host during games and liaise with production crews for camera shots.

Required Qualifications

• Energetic, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledgeable about sports, live entertainment, production, and special event management.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to multitask and handle pressure during live events.
• Availability to work most home games, including open practices, home playoff games, select rehearsals, viewing parties, and special events.
• able to take direction well and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to collaborate with various personnel such as the Game Director, Stage Manager, camera staff, hosts, and VIPs.
• Capacity to remain standing throughout an entire shift and to lift or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
