Role Overview

As a Software Tech Lead specializing in frontend development, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of our scalable Energy-as-a-Service platform, delivering innovative energy applications. Your scope spans from architectural design, backend and embedded development oversight, to ensuring the secure and efficient production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend development and enhance the overall user experience.
• Develop and refine core elements of our customer-facing product from concept through implementation.
• Drive technical roadmaps and architect scalable solutions for live operations.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, development teams, and external partners.
• Maintain clean interfaces, uphold code quality, and make sound architectural choices.

Required Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience building user-centric frontend solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong grasp of modern technology stacks including cloud architecture, API design, data modeling, and security principles.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance development workflows.
• Proven ability to craft UI and UX designs that are both intuitive and visually appealing to users.
• Competency in both planning and executing projects from initial sketches to deployment.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like JIRA, version control using Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advantageous: background in IoT, energy management, or smart meter technology.
• Fluent English and conversational German (minimum B2 level).
