Role Overview

The position of Freight Forwarder is a full-time role based in Greater Dublin offering a hybrid work model that includes both onsite presence and remote work possibilities. The individual will be responsible for managing both domestic and global shipment coordination, preparing and overseeing transport documentation, and arranging suitable freight services tailored to customer needs. Daily tasks involve consistent communication with clients, carriers, and internal departments to track shipments, troubleshoot problems, and guarantee timely deliveries. Additional duties include monitoring transportation expenses, maintaining regulatory compliance, and maintaining updated shipment records within company systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in freight forwarding and transportation to manage and oversee efficient shipment processes.
• Knowledge of forwarding and export procedures to effectively handle international cargo and documentation.
• Strong customer service skills for addressing inquiries, providing shipment information, and resolving client concerns swiftly.
• Previous experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain coordination is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with office software and transport management systems is beneficial.
