Role Overview
We seek to engage senior freelance PR specialists who have a solid history of securing notable media exposure for clients in the cryptocurrency space, including crypto-native firms, protocols, funds, infrastructure providers, exchanges, decentralized finance projects, and related fintech enterprises. Our client is a prominent crypto venture capital firm, managing a distinguished portfolio, requiring advanced communications expertise to support their outreach in crypto-native, fintech, business, and major media outlets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in shaping and refining PR strategies.
- Identify compelling media story angles.
- Provide strategic advice on narrative development and positioning.
- Create and prepare pitch materials for media engagement.
- Develop targeted media contact lists.
- Conduct proactive media outreach efforts.
- Support thought leadership initiatives for founders and investors.
- Secure relevant media coverage spanning crypto, fintech, and tier-one business publications.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven expertise in cryptocurrency communications with measurable successes.
- Established strong relationships with media representatives.
- Capability to provide sound strategic counsel at senior levels.
- Experience with media in the United States is highly desirable, although candidates with solid international media networks will also be considered.
