Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Role Summary

Kotak Life is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 5 years of experience to undertake the role of FP&A Lead at the Assistant Vice President level in the Finance Department. This position is based in Goregaon (East), Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the year-end closing of MIS books efficiently.
• Analyze deviations between actual results and budget, identifying causes for variances.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses to support reviews by the CFO and Managing Director.
• Develop financial presentations for executive-level meetings.
• Ensure submission of accurate and timely financial deliverables to the broader Kotak Group.
• Generate internal reports for executive leadership to aid strategic decision-making.
• Engage actively in crafting, refining, and rolling out the company’s annual budgets across all departments.
• Collaborate with individual departments to prepare and consolidate budget plans into an overarching corporate budget.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to provide insights on industry developments for top management.
• Address ad-hoc requests from senior management and the holding company.
• Lead projects as assigned under management guidance.
