Financial Accountant

About the Role

Fairfield Wood Works LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant with 2 to 5 years of experience in the interior fit-out, joinery, or construction sectors to independently oversee the company's financial operations in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries utilizing Tally ERP software.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial flow.
• Process invoicing and facilitate timely payments to suppliers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the General Ledger accurately.
• Administer payroll and process salaries through the Wages Protection System (WPS).
• Keep detailed records of purchases, expenses, and track costs effectively.
• Generate financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and maintain necessary accounting documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, auditors, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Assist management in financial analysis and monitoring cash flows.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience specifically within interior fit-out, joinery, or construction environments.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Microsoft Excel, and overall MS Office applications.
• Experience managing company accounts with an annual turnover around AED 10 to 12 million.
• Knowledgeable in payroll systems, WPS, VAT, purchasing, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Capable of working independently and delivering tasks within deadlines.
