Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounting Solution Specialist to lead financial solution development, system optimization, process improvements, and data analysis within a dynamic business environment in Doha, Qatar. The role requires a deep integration of accounting principles with business needs, supporting financial operations to drive growth and informed decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop tailored financial solutions by interpreting business needs and integrating accounting rules, settlement protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product and R&D teams to enhance financial systems focusing on online billing, automated accounting entries, data validation, and system updates.
• Lead efforts to streamline financial processes, improve workflows, and resolve financial discrepancies to increase operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational metrics, generate monthly reports, and manage accounts payable data analytics.
• Work closely with various business units, finance, treasury, tax, and technology teams to align objectives and ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Have over five years of relevant experience in finance operations, particularly in supply chain finance, procurement settlements, or accounts payable management.
• Demonstrate strong logical reasoning and risk management skills with a proven track record of independently developing and implementing financial solutions.
• Exhibit excellent communication and project coordination abilities to manage cross-departmental initiatives effectively.
• Proficient in data processing and preferably skilled in SQL or similar database querying languages.
