Job Overview
The Field Officer role is responsible for facilitating the recruitment of blue-collar and labour category candidates by engaging directly in the field and through various community networks. The candidate will plan and execute recruitment drives across villages, towns, and specific industrial zones to find both skilled and unskilled workers. This role is integral in maintaining a robust supply pipeline of manpower aligned with company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and attract labour category candidates via field visits, networking, job fairs, and referrals.
- Organize and conduct recruitment events in diverse locations such as villages, towns, industrial sectors, and training centers.
- Screen applicants assessing their suitability according to job specifications and arrange interviews accordingly.
- Sustain a reliable flow of skilled and unskilled manpower candidates for ongoing requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, labour suppliers, and staffing firms to source appropriate manpower.
- Perform thorough verification of candidate documentation and facilitate onboarding procedures.
- Ensure the prompt mobilization and commencement of employment for selected candidates.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily reports on field activities, recruitment progress, and candidate databases.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local communities, government employment offices, NGOs, and organizations promoting skill development.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ascertain manpower needs and fulfill them within prescribed timelines.
- Address candidate inquiries regarding job offers, joining protocols, and accommodation support as applicable.
- Commit to extensive travel across multiple locations to conduct recruitment and mobilization efforts.
