Overview
This position is headquartered at our Düsseldorf office with a hybrid work model combining on-site and remote working.
Role Purpose
The primary objective is to spearhead new business acquisition for Mount Street Group, empowering team members to also drive new client engagement, with emphasis on Portfolio Management mandates.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Business Development and Placement Services teams.
- Drive the generation of new business opportunities for the Mount Street group.
- Establish and nurture client relationships, both new and existing, across the group.
- Identify and cultivate business prospects, designing marketing materials and managing client communications and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to direct Portfolio Management-specific campaigns and services.
- Assist in setting up new business infrastructure and onboard new clients across group divisions.
- Originate new lines of business within the organization.
- Liaise regularly with business unit heads to align marketing support with product and strategy developments.
- Facilitate organization and coordination for contractual agreement signings.
Skills and Competencies
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire suite of products offered by Mount Street group.
- In-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses to efficiently prepare live presentations, marketing content, and proposals.
- Firm grasp of Mount Street's pricing policies and strong negotiation capabilities during client engagements.
- Excellent presentation and external client representation skills.
- Extensive client network and familiarity with international legal frameworks, economic environments, and accounting standards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within Portfolio Management and across other group units; capable of independent work across multiple locations; excellent organizational and prioritization skills ensuring deadlines are met.
- Proactive team member who supports colleagues, guides teams, and maintains updated industry and market knowledge.
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural, and global environments.
