About the Role
This contract position supports a British universal bank’s Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility (PPCR) unit, focused on advancing societal purpose, sustainability, citizenship, communications, and government relations. Serving as the Personal Assistant to the Global Head of Citizenship, the role ensures seamless management of a complex global agenda with high-level executive support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Global Head of Citizenship's calendar by managing meeting requests, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing scheduling efficiently.
- Organize detailed travel plans including flights, accommodations, and ground transport while ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
- Arrange logistical aspects of meetings such as securing conference rooms, coordinating audio/visual needs, and managing visitor access.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and relevant materials well in advance.
- Provide administrative and event support for the wider Public Policy & Corporate Responsibility leadership team, particularly during New York-based engagements and organization-wide functions.
- Handle daily administrative duties including expense management, filing, and other operational tasks with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Monitor and track action items, follow-ups, and deadlines, proactively identifying risks or dependencies.
- Quickly resolve operational issues by collaborating with internal partners like technology and facilities management to uphold service quality.
