Key Responsibilities

The estimator will prepare precise quotations and tender bids for steelwork inquiries by interpreting technical drawings and specifications. This includes producing detailed material take-offs and pricing models. Collaboration with commercial, engineering, and operational teams is essential to ensure estimates are competitive, compliant, and assist in transitioning successful tenders to the project delivery teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in estimating, specifically within structural steelwork, fabrication, or construction sectors. They should be proficient at conducting take-offs directly from engineering and fabrication drawings and capable of building estimates from basic principles. Strong commercial insight, keen attention to detail, excellent Microsoft Excel abilities, organized work habits, and effective communication skills are required.
