Job Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Recruiter specialized in US-based engineering talent acquisition to identify and hire skilled engineering professionals. The recruiter will engage in full-cycle recruiting, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, focusing on roles such as mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality, validation, automation, and civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and attract candidates for various engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality assurance, validation, automation, and civil engineering.
- Evaluate candidates’ technical expertise, geographical suitability, work authorization status, availability, and salary expectations.
- Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, specialized job portals, referrals, and internal databases for talent sourcing.
- Manage candidate pipelines through submission, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to thoroughly understand client hiring needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Meet or exceed daily goals related to candidate submissions, interviews, and successful placements.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience recruiting engineering or technical professionals for US-based roles.
- Familiarity with engineering positions and corresponding technical terms and requirements.
- Understanding of different US employment classifications: W2, C2C, and 1099, including relevant work authorization regulations.
- Proficiency in sourcing candidates via LinkedIn and dedicated US recruitment portals.
- Strong skills in sourcing, screening, communication, and negotiation to effectively engage and secure candidates.
- Flexibility to operate in alignment with US business hours.
