About the Role
ShanMukha Innovations Private Limited is seeking dedicated individuals eager to make a difference in the Medical Point-of-Care diagnostics field. As an R&D Electronics Engineer, you will engage in both the creation of new products and enhancement of existing ones, encompassing devices like spectrometers and PCR Cyclers. Your contribution will extend beyond product development into research activities including data analysis and academic paper publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize ECAD tools with a focus on mixed-signal electronics design and prototyping.
- Perform rigorous testing, detailed analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation of results and project progress.
- Support scientific publication efforts through assistance in paper drafting.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and external partners to iteratively improve product quality and functionality.
Qualifications and Skills
- B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering with at least one year of experience in New Product Development or R&D, ideally in medical device sectors, or demonstrated project expertise through international competitions or conferences.
- Proficiency in ECAD/PCB design software, with KiCAD being preferred.
- Strong understanding of both analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with discrete components, sensor modules, integrated circuits, and embedded systems, notably ESP32 microcontrollers.
- Competency in soldering and use of diagnostic tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and ability to interpret and generate schematics and PCB layouts.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of embedded programming and 3D printing technologies.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Fundamental mechanical CAD skills.
- Understanding of IEC standards and design methodologies.
- Optics or electro-optics expertise.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.
- RF circuit design and layout experience.
- Broader embedded programming knowledge and basic project management skills.
