Role Overview

We are hiring an Electrical Technician to join our project team, supporting installations in both new and existing buildings. Working in close collaboration with Project Engineers, the role includes preparing materials, performing pre-deployment testing of devices, and installing electrical meters, sensors, and network equipment on-site while ensuring compliance with timelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and install electrical wiring and cabling within junction boxes and panels.
• Mount and secure electrical equipment such as meters, gateways, and junction boxes at deployment locations.
• Understand and execute basic tasks involving conduits, trunking, cable trays, and cable laying.
• Utilize hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, and cutters safely and efficiently.
• Support simple device testing at the office, such as onboarding procedures for Ampohub, with initial training provided.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ practical experience in electrical installations.
• Demonstrate responsibility along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety protocols and site procedures, supported by relevant safety certifications (e.g., BizSAFE, BCSS).
